Watch Francisco tell the story · 0:33

Why “Constant”? It starts with a C.

When Francisco was choosing a name for his company, he kept coming back to one letter: C — the first letter of his late father Carlos’ name. That letter became Constant Heating & Air.

It’s still a family business. When you call, you talk to people who treat your home like their own — weekdays, weekends and the hottest days of a Texas summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AC repair cost in Dallas?

It depends on what is wrong — a capacitor, a refrigerant leak and a failed compressor are very different jobs. We diagnose the problem first and give you a clear price before any work starts, so there are no surprises. Estimates are free.

Do you provide same-day AC repair?

Whenever possible, yes. Call 214-382-8601 early in the day and we will do our best to get a technician to you the same day — including weekends during the Texas heat.

Do you offer emergency HVAC service?

Yes. We offer emergency repair service 24/7, including nights and weekends. If your AC or heat stops working, call 214-382-8601.

Should I repair or replace my AC?

If your system is older than about 12–15 years, needs frequent repairs or your bills keep rising, replacing it is often the better investment. We give you honest advice and a free estimate — and this month you get 15% off a new system.

How long does an AC replacement take?

Most standard AC replacements are completed in one day. Larger jobs, such as a full system with new ductwork, can take longer — we will tell you the timeline up front with your estimate.

Do you service all HVAC brands?

Yes. We service all major brands of air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Constant Heating & Air provides free estimates for all HVAC services. Call us or send the form above to schedule one.

What areas around Dallas do you serve?

We are based in Plano and serve homes and businesses across Dallas–Fort Worth, including Dallas, Richardson, Garland, Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Irving, Las Colinas, Rowlett, Sachse, Mesquite, University Park and Highland Park.

My AC is running but blowing warm air. What should I check first?

Make sure the thermostat is set to Cool, the air filter is not clogged and the breaker for the outdoor unit has not tripped. If it still blows warm air, call us for AC repair — it is often a capacitor, refrigerant or outdoor unit problem that needs a technician.

Why does my AC keep freezing up?

Ice on the coil usually means poor airflow (a dirty filter or blocked vents) or low refrigerant. Turn the AC off and let it thaw, change the filter, and call us if it freezes again.

My furnace is running but the house is still cold. What could be wrong?

Common causes are a dirty filter, thermostat settings, an ignition or flame sensor problem, or leaking ductwork. We will diagnose it and explain the fix and the price before any repair.

Some rooms are hotter or colder than others. Can you fix that?

Yes. Uneven temperatures usually come from duct leaks, blocked or undersized ducts, or airflow that needs balancing. We inspect the system and the ductwork and adjust it so every room is comfortable.

How often should my HVAC system be serviced?

Twice a year is best: the AC in spring before the Texas heat, and the heating in fall before the first cold snap. Regular service prevents breakdowns and keeps energy bills down.

What is included in a tune-up or maintenance plan?

A full inspection and cleaning of the system, checking refrigerant levels, electrical parts, the thermostat, drain lines and airflow, plus a filter check. Ask us about a maintenance plan so you never miss a visit.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

Yes. We provide commercial HVAC service for offices, retail stores, restaurants, warehouses and multi-unit buildings, and we install HVAC in new construction.
